The new additions have been such a wonderful addition to the library space. Students, staff, and even parents have benefited from the new donations. \r\n\r\nBy having more seating, students have choices of where to sit during story time. For many of my active learners, the stools help them center their focus to the short time on the carpet. It has been very successful with all of my classes, even the older classes.\r\n\r\nThe sensory tiles are amazing as well. The students stand on these moving tiles while checking out books. I heard so much conversation about them. Students think they look like lava, ocean and even the inside of a grape! I laugh at hearing their inquisitive minds. Not only are the students memorized by these tiles, but teachers too love walking on them when they come through the library. These books are read all year and then compete in May. Your donation of these selected books have been very helpful for my study sessions. Students eat with me each Monday while I build the teams. I am currently about to select the designated participants next week.
