Working in teams, they eagerly set out to create the strongest sumo wrestler using simple materials — red solo cups, popsicle sticks, and masking tape — proving that innovation thrives when curiosity meets opportunity.\r\n\r\nOnce their designs were built, students entered the arena where their creations competed head-to-head, powered by their coded Sphero robots. The room was filled with cheers, problem-solving conversations, and proud smiles as students tested their ideas in real time. We even crowned our very first Grand Sumo Wrestler Champion, a moment our students will never forget.\r\n\r\nBeyond the excitement of competition, your support helped students develop critical life skills: perseverance, teamwork, creative thinking, and confidence in solving complex problems.
