Your donation has had an immediate and meaningful impact in our classroom.\r\n\r\nThese headphones are doing more than just improving sound quality; they're transforming the way our students learn. In a busy school environment, it's not always easy for kids to tune out distractions. Now, with the help of these headphones, students can better focus on their lessons, whether they're watching a video, listening to a read-aloud, or participating in interactive learning programs.\r\n\r\nWhat's been especially exciting is seeing how the headphones help create a calm, focused environment. One student described it as being in their \"own little world\" where they can think clearly and do their best work. Students who struggle with attention or sensory sensitivities have particularly benefited. For example, one of our learners, who used to find independent work time overwhelming, now puts on their headphones, gets into the zone, and completes assignments with newfound confidence.\r\n\r\nWe've also seen English Language Learners thrive using audio supports they can hear clearly and privately. It's amazing what a difference a simple tool can make when it's exactly what a student needs.\r\n\r\nThank you again for investing in our classroom!","fullyFundedDate":1746839267001,"projectUrl":"project/be-a-headphone-hero/9112352/","projectTitle":"Be a Headphone Hero","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Bandstra","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9923076_orig.jpg?crop=640,640,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1739464101043","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mrs-bandstra"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_70657","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":411,"numTeachers":29,"percentFrplEligible":30,"percentAsian":5,"percentBlack":5,"percentWhite":69,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":13,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 4","studentTeacherRatio":"14.2:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_SMALL"},"inStateSupporters":66.7,"schoolId":70657,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Century Park Learning Center on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Century Park Learning Center","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/michigan/grandville-public-school-district/century-park-learning-center/70657"}
