Our school is in its third year and students decided to begin a morning news club the first year. The club fizzled out and students this school year decided to revive the club. Because of our unique circumstances as an early college high school, we are able to host student led clubs once a week for an hour. Previously, the club had use of one vlog kit, but that wasn't enough for all members to be out and about recording interviews and story segments.\r\n Because of your generosity, students now have access to three vlog kits and one video camera. We have already been able to use our new materials in various ways. We have had students record a student-led fashion show where student designers and their friends modeled their designs. We were also able to record students as they created commercials for their Econ and Finance classes. We are now able to have multiple students recording instead of one at a time, which strained our already limited time each week. The quality of our show has improved because of the lighting and stands that come with the vlog kits, as well as the advanced tech of the video camera, which connects to your phone via wifi.
