Each year, I try to do a nice gift for them at Christmas time. To keep it still educational in way, but fun and enjoyable, I try to always do some sort of STEM/building toy as their gift. This year, I wanted to gift each student a small Lego set as their very own to build and keep. This is one thing that all my students, boys and girls, seem to love. They all want to go to the Lego center on rainy indoor recess days, so I knew this would be a great gift. \r\n\r\nThe Lego gifts didn't arrive until after Christmas, so I am gifting them as their end of first grade gift now. I plan to also pair with a book and hopefully a fun tie-dye shirt too. Thank you for helping to fund this project.
