I wish you could have seen the smiles on my students' faces when I pulled out new dry erase markers! It seems like an insignificant item but to economically disadvantaged students, they were like gold! Language impaired students learn so much better when they can draw or write the details from short stories on their own dry erase boards. \r\n\r\nBecause my diverse caseload (50+) has a variety of speech goals, I am constantly searching Teacher's Pay Teachers for relevant materials. The TPT gift card your donations provided meant I could purchase some of the more expensive materials that cover a wide range of my students' speech and language needs. From eye-catching picture scenes for describing to articulation activities, it can all be found on TPT. My students definitely appreciate the new computer activities for social skills and real life problem solving scenarios that I was able to download thanks to your generosity.\r\n\r\nLastly, new books are always a big hit. The books I was able to purchase work great for answering \"wh\" questions and retelling stories. Books are great for articulation of specific speech sounds. Your donations allowed me to purchase books to be kept in the speech room so that we can review them any time. My students and I truly appreciate the sacrifices that you made to donate to help bridge inequality in our school.","fullyFundedDate":1759355173430,"projectUrl":"project/please-help-bridge-the-equity-gap-for-my/9750454/","projectTitle":"Please Help Bridge the Equity Gap for My Students!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Samuels","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7696938_orig.jpg?crop=1080,1080,x0,y601&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1695303204935","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7696938"},{"teacherId":8432492,"projectId":8229188,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous donation.
