Your support may seem simple, but its impact reaches far beyond basic hygiene. For many of our students, having access to personal care items like deodorant is not guaranteed, and this project helped fill a real and immediate need.\r\n\r\nMiddle school is a time when students are becoming more aware of themselves and how they fit into the world around them. Something as small as deodorant can make a big difference in a student's confidence, comfort, and ability to focus in class. Because of you, our boys and girls can come to school feeling more secure and ready to learn, rather than worrying about something they cannot control.\r\n\r\nYour kindness also sends a powerful message to our students—that there are people in the world who care about their well-being and believe they deserve dignity and respect. This lesson is just as important as anything we teach academically. Many students were genuinely surprised and grateful to learn that strangers chose to support them in this way.\r\n\r\nThank you for seeing a need and taking action. Your generosity has made our school a more supportive and welcoming place, and it has positively affected students' daily lives in ways that truly matter. We are deeply grateful for you and your willingness to invest in our students.","fullyFundedDate":1767041911927,"projectUrl":"project/who-runs-the-worldgirls/9886581/","projectTitle":"Who Runs the World...GIRLS!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Kirby","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp5464030_orig.jpg?crop=2602,2602,x1045,y133&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1592424789232","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/r-kirby"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_93416","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":542,"numTeachers":35,"percentFrplEligible":54,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":81,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":11,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"15.5:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_DISTANT"},"inStateSupporters":66.4,"schoolId":93416,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Centertown Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Centertown Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/tennessee/warren-county-school-district/centertown-elementary-school/93416"}
