The students are now able to come into the classroom and get right to work. Having power strips strategically located around the room have saved 10-15 minutes of class time each day. \r\n\r\nHaving the ability to use their computers without disruption has allowed for more engagement in the classroom and students have become more proactive and focused on the learning because they are no longer distracted by computer issues.\r\n\r\nMy freshman class is definitely the class who as benefitted the most from your generosity. They are in a certification course that is completed entirely online and just today a few took the certification exam and passed it on the first try! We now have enough drills for everyone to use and the only problem is now they rush to be the ones that get to use the new drills first. Our play this spring is the Putnam County Spelling Bee and takes place in a gym. I knew we needed to build a large set for this show and we were not going to be able to do it without the supplies your donation was able to buy. The pictures show the students using the drills but also the incredible set (still under construction) that we were able to build. \r\nWe will continue to add to our resources with more tools and supplies in the future, but it will be much easier to do with the foundation these tools give us.
