They love the variety of snack bars and fruit snacks are always a popular choice. Snack time and read aloud is one of their favorite parts of our day. \r\n\r\nWhile the first graders might not be using the laminator, they are using all the things that are laminated. I love doing an activity that is called solve the room (math) or decode the room (reading). It is an activity that lets students move around the room, work with peers, and practice the skills we are working on. I laminate the cards so I can use them for my future students! \r\n\r\nThe stools are super sturdy and perfect for my small groups. These titles are chosen by Washington librarians annually and are specifically geared toward hooking young reading on starter chapter books.
