These games give them meaningful opportunities to explain their thinking, use academic language naturally, and collaborate confidently with peers. I could barely get the materials passed out to them in some kind of orderly fashion with such fun chaos for a minute! Our first time trying them out was filled with a lot of laughs and trial and errors to find a good flow for us. It was a bit difficult to try and get some photos while they went through the poses so fast when I would stop and get my camera ready😂 At the end, we settled in and took some time to reflect and set a goal for our next session. The students set a goal of trying to hold the poses for as long as I can!
