One of the first projects we tackled with these supplies was our Interactive Notebook work. Students used the glue sticks and pencils to set up pages for our current unit, and they loved making their notes more organized and creative. The cute erasers have also become an incentive—students get especially excited to use them when they've worked hard or stayed on task, which adds a fun layer of motivation.\r\n\r\nWhen the supplies first arrived, the students' faces lit up. Many of them said things like, \"Now we don't have to worry about running out of pencils!\" or \"We can actually fix our mistakes without scratching up the paper!\" It was a small change, but it made them feel cared for and supported.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, students will continue building their interactive math notebooks throughout the year. These notebooks will serve as personalized study guides as we prepare for upcoming assessments.
