Splash, provides engaging, hands-on practice with essential reading skills and phonics patterns, which is especially important for students who need extra support and developing strong decoding and word recognition skills. The interactive nature of the games, motivate students to practice skills that can sometimes feel challenging, and they are excited to learn while playing. \r\nWe are using the splash phonics games during small group, reading instruction and literacy centers. This allows students to practice, targeted phonics patterns, reinforce skills we've learned during lessons, and build confidence as readers in a fun and supportive way. I have noticed increasing engagement, stronger, participation, and growing confidence as students apply these skills to their reading.
