My students absolutely love reading these novels. Students who have not enjoyed reading before have been completely enthralled with the storylines, have fallen in love with the characters, and have come to class ready to jump right back into the next chapter. \r\n\r\nWe have been working on novel studies with each grade level - all have been impacted by this project - and they have been fully immersed, not only in comprehension studies, but extension projects that they will remember for years to come.\r\n\r\nTwo of my three classes have finished the novel - one of those two have completely finished the projects with the novel, and the other is still working on extension projects - and the remaining class still working on the novel study will be able to continue with extension projects when we do complete it. \r\n\r\nMy students have already asked to read other books in the series. They are racing to see which one of them can get their hands on the next novel first.
