It's been well-loved and used daily for instruction, class meetings, and read-alouds. My students absolutely treasure our rug time—it's where we gather to learn, share, and grow together.\r\n\r\nI'll never forget the excitement on their faces when they first saw it. One student exclaimed, \"It's so cozy! Can we sit here all day?\" It instantly made our classroom feel more like a home—a safe and welcoming space where they know they belong.\r\n\r\nOne of my favorite moments so far was during a read-aloud. We were deep into a story, and I looked around to see all my students sitting criss-cross with wide eyes, completely engaged. The rug gave us that space to be close, to connect, and to fall in love with learning.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, the rug continues to be our go-to spot for phonics instruction, morning meetings, partner discussions, and story time.
