Your generosity has brought excitement, confidence, and creativity into our classroom.\r\nBecause of you, our students are now exploring the world of coding through hands‑on activities that help them think critically, solve problems, and work together as a team. Many donors use technology every day, but may not always see how it shapes learning in schools—so I want you to know that your gift is helping our girls move from simply using technology to actually creating with it.\r\nThe most exciting part for the students has been watching their ideas come to life. Whether they are programming a robot, fixing a bug, or animating a character on the screen, the moment their code works is pure magic. Their faces light up with pride, and they're eager to keep experimenting and learning.\r\nSome of our quieter students have especially blossomed during coding time. A few who rarely raise their hands in class have become leaders in debugging and problem‑solving. One student who often doubted her math abilities lit up when her first animation ran exactly how she designed it. She proudly told the group, \"I made this do that!\" Moments like this are why your support truly matters.\r\nThank you for believing in our girls and giving them the opportunity to build skills—and confidence—that will carry them far into the future. Your kindness is helping them see themselves as capable, creative, and powerful young women in the world of technology.","fullyFundedDate":1766442590771,"projectUrl":"project/girls-who-code-robotics-with-sphero/9717795/","projectTitle":"Girls Who Code: Robotics with Sphero","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Crosby","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp5268857_orig.jpg?crop=1242,1242,x0,y596&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1759338006319","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5268857"},{"teacherId":10355090,"projectId":9906970,"letterContent":"Thank you so very much for your support of my students. It truly warmed my heart and meant the world to me. Because of you all I was able to host a STEM day for all 8th graders at my school. We had enough kits for our students to experience in real life what they are learning about in computer science class and also in science.\r\n The students were so excited to see our setup. When I told them the kits were donated by anonymous donors they yelled out, \"for us?!\" They were problem-solving, working together, and even asking other teachers and principals to stop and see what they were doing. They felt such a sense of pride when they were able to complete the kit all on their own. They were so happy when we took down the displays the next day so they could take them home to show their families.\r\n The kits really brought what we learn about to life for my students. I cannot thank you enough! It was an enjoyable experience. This was my first experience with Donors Choose. What a worthy service to our upcoming generations.
