The timers, space-themed carpet, round cushions, contact paper, and daily-use pencils have made a remarkable difference in how my students learn and how smoothly our classroom operates.\r\n\r\nWe are using these resources every single day. The timers help students manage their time during small-group rotations and stay focused during independent work. The space-themed carpet and round cushions have become our favorite spots for reading, partner activities, and classroom discussions. The flexible seating helps students settle comfortably, which increases engagement and stamina during literacy and math blocks. The contact paper brightened and refreshed our bookshelves, making our materials visually appealing. The pencils used constantly ensure that every student is prepared to learn without delay.\r\n\r\nOne of the most memorable moments was when students first walked in and noticed the new carpet and cushions. Their faces lit up instantly. Several students sat down right away, saying things like, \"This feels like a real reading corner!\" and \"Can we do our work here today?\" The excitement grew even more when they realized the carpet matched our Wit & Wisdom Outer Space module. Students said it felt like they were \"learning in a little piece of space.\" Their enthusiasm showed just how much a welcoming, theme-aligned space can influence their motivation and willingness to participate.\r\n\r\nYour support has helped create learning spaces that promote independence, structure, and positivity. Flexible seating promotes collaboration, timers support time management, and better organization helps students stay focused and ready to learn.","fullyFundedDate":1758202984784,"projectUrl":"project/stretching-our-space-expanding-learnin/9500792/","projectTitle":"Stretching Our Space : Expanding Learning in Every Corner","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Braithwaite","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-6_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10093791"},{"teacherId":7032522,"projectId":9618875,"letterContent":"When our package arrived, the faces of my students lit up with excitement. They couldn't wait to try out the privacy boards, sharpen their pencils in our new sharpener, and test the elastic fidget bands. The privacy boards have already made a huge difference in writing and math. Students love having their own little space to focus, and several of them proudly called it their \"mini offices.\" The fidget bands have been a hit too, giving students who need to move a way to stay engaged without distracting others. Even the simple joy of having fresh pencils ready to go has brought a sense of pride and preparedness to our classroom.\r\n\r\nOne of my favorite moments was watching the class settle into a quiet writing session with their privacy boards up and pencils sharpened, completely absorbed in their work. It felt like the room transformed into a community of young scholars. The cleaning supplies have helped us maintain a fresh and welcoming space, which makes everyone feel more comfortable and proud of their environment. As we move into our next big project, student research reports that these resources will continue to support focus, independence, and confidence. Your generosity has not only provided tools but has truly lifted my students' spirits, and we are so grateful for the peek you've given into our classroom journey.","fullyFundedDate":1763134711072,"projectUrl":"project/calm-clean-and-ready-to-learn/9618875/","projectTitle":"Calm, Clean, and Ready to Learn","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. McMillan","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7032522_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1710864657196","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7032522"},{"teacherId":7874752,"projectId":9409156,"letterContent":"Thank you for your generous donations to my classroom. These bare necessities were very much appreciated to support my students' learning. \r\n\r\nMy students have enjoyed the snacks on days where they are hungrier than usual. The whiteboards and whiteboard markers have tremendously supported their math learning. We have used the whiteboards and markers for our warm up activities to show quick answers. We have also used the markers to practice problems directly on our tables - the students really enjoyed this as it was different for them! The tissues are especially coming in handy now that sick season is starting. Fifth grade is when children's bodies start changing and those air fresheners are especially important during these winter months when the windows cannot be opened. \r\n\r\nMy students were super excited when they saw the boxes start to be delivered. They asked me where it came from. I explained to them that people donated to our classroom, and they were incredibly grateful!
