Just yesterday, I watched a group of my youngest learners working alongside some of our 8th graders. In the past, I would have been hovering constantly, worried about a table tipping or a stool slipping while they worked with their hands. Instead, I was able to step back and actually engage with their creativity because the environment was finally safe and stable. They were leaning into their work—literally and figuratively—without a single wobble or \"watch out!\" It has turned our chaotic \"makeshift\" room into a focused, professional space where the only thing shaking is the excitement of a breakthrough.\r\n\r\nWe are just getting started! Now that we have a foundation we can actually trust, our next step is moving into more complex, heavy-duty construction. We're finally ready to use heavier materials and more specialized tools that require a rock-solid base. Because of your generosity, my students are no longer limited by the four legs of a shaky table; they are only limited by their own imaginations. This iterative cycle builds perseverance, critical thinking, and an authentic understanding of how engineers work in the real world.\r\n\r\nAll grade levels across campus benefit from 3D printing in the Makerspace.
