This increased the enrollment for each of my classes to 30 students. Many of my electronic balances went to the scientific instrument grave yard and have been merely too expensive for me to replace. The few I have left do not allow for a timely completion of my STEM labs because of the number of students using them. \r\n\r\nYour generous contribution allows 6 of the 7 of my cooperative learning groups to have an electronic balance on their lab table. My students use these scales to find the mass for various activities. They range from finding the mass of our \"Mummified\" hotdog to the mass of a jar with all of the air pumped out. These balances are used each time my students have to measure mass during a STEM lesson. \r\n\r\nMy students are always excited to complete out STEM labs.
