The opportunities for language usage and acquisition have made a noticeable impact, especially for our little ones coming in with language deficits. \r\n\r\nAnd as an added bonus, and one I did not foresee, the students in our classroom have really begun to see themselves as an integral part of our school community. They are watching the older students pass by, pointing out those they know, and asking who they are, where they are going, and what they are doing. They have learned the teachers names in the classroom behind us, and have made an amazing effort to make themselves a part of our community by engaging with these teachers.
