With the new racquets and pickleballs, students have been able to try a new activity that is fun, active, and easy for everyone to join in.\r\n\r\nMany of the students had never played pickleball before, so it's been exciting for them to learn something new. It has helped students stay active and build confidence, no matter their skill level.\r\n\r\nPickleball has also helped students work on teamwork and good sportsmanship. They are learning how to communicate, take turns, and encourage each other while they play. It's quickly become one of their favorite activities, even competing in tournaments and against teachers!\r\n\r\nThank you so much for your generous donation. It has brought a lot of energy and positivity to our classroom and grade level, and our students really appreciate it.","fullyFundedDate":1769188969741,"projectUrl":"project/starting-our-day-with-pickleball/10018223/","projectTitle":"Starting our Day with Pickleball","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Mendoza","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/lisamendoza"},{"teacherId":10051944,"projectId":9401964,"letterContent":"Most Recently, I have used the SEL books to have students learn about kindness, gratefulness, and compassion. I have a lot of students coming up and asking can I take this? I am happy to tell them, yes, put it in your book bag to read! \r\n\r\nThe classroom in 2nd Grade has now a multitude of various books that were thoughtfully donated by Donors Choose Supporters.
