One of our favorite moments so far was during a recent STEM challenge where students worked in teams to design and build structures to solve a real-world problem. The room was buzzing with excitement as they sketched plans, tested ideas, made adjustments, and proudly shared their creations. Watching their confidence grow as they realized they could turn their ideas into something tangible was incredibly rewarding.\r\nWhen the students first saw the materials, their eyes lit up with pure excitement. There were gasps, huge smiles, and so many eager questions about when they could start building! They immediately began imagining what they could create. The hands-on nature of these resources has sparked deeper engagement, meaningful collaboration, and thoughtful problem-solving. Even students who are sometimes hesitant to participate have jumped right in, eager to explore and contribute.\r\nBecause of your generosity, our next steps involve expanding our current design project into a larger inquiry-based unit. Students will refine their prototypes, collect data, and present their findings to the class, explaining the thinking behind their designs.
