My program supports students with intensive social/emotional and behavioral needs. Programs like mine require staff that are patient and empathetic, a social skills/executive functioning support curriculum that is engaging, and a robust behavioral reinforcement system with ample opportunities for students to access both tangible and intrinsic rewards for displaying positive, pro-social behaviors in the school setting. \r\n\r\nWith your support, I was able to bolster my classroom systems and provide opportunities for students to access motivators by working on their skills. My students have been making great use of the art supplies, and are quite happy with the refrigerator that houses gatorade and capri sun they buy with the points they earn via our motivation system.
