My students have been using these resources often during the school day and holiday season.\r\n\r\nWe've already completed several cooking lessons, including a Thanksgiving breakfast brunch and a Halloween finger-food activity. Students practiced reading recipes, preparing food, serving peers, and learning food safety and cleaning skills. They laughed, cheered, and one student said, \"Christmas came early!\"\r\n\r\nNext, students will prepare for a Christmas cooking project where they will choose a recipe, shop for ingredients, cook, and clean up using the new tools.
