Students are using them as part of our daily routines. Earning rewards for meeting goals, working hard, and showing kindness to one another. One of my favorite moments was watching a student who often struggles with confidence beam with pride after earning a reward for helping a classmate during a challenging activity. That small celebration helped them see what they're capable of, and it inspired others to cheer them on.\r\nWhen my students first saw the materials, their faces lit up. They were excited not just because the rewards were fun, but because they understood that these tools were meant to celebrate their growth. The room buzzed with motivation and joy, and suddenly our learning space felt even more connected and encouraging.","fullyFundedDate":1759969599224,"projectUrl":"project/leveling-up-learning/9755592/","projectTitle":"Leveling Up Learning!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Villalobos","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10181899_orig.jpg?crop=727,727,x408,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1755480946863","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10181899"},{"teacherId":10181899,"projectId":9792670,"letterContent":"The Book With No Pictures has quickly become a classroom favorite! It serves as a fun and engaging introduction to the idea that a book doesn't need pictures to be exciting or entertaining. Students are always surprised by how much laughter and imagination can come from simply listening to words. This experience helps them understand the power of language, expression, and tone—skills that carry over into their own reading and writing.\r\nAt the end of each day, my students eagerly look forward to our read-aloud time with The Wild Robot. These last ten minutes have become a special classroom ritual that brings a sense of calm, curiosity, and community. As we read together, students practice listening comprehension, make predictions, and connect emotionally with the story's characters and themes. This daily routine not only supports their literacy growth but also strengthens our classroom bond, reminding students that stories—whether full of pictures or not—can spark imagination and bring us all together.","fullyFundedDate":1759876446837,"projectUrl":"project/foster-a-love-for-reading/9792670/","projectTitle":"Foster a Love for Reading","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Villalobos","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10181899_orig.jpg?crop=727,727,x408,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1755480946863","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10181899"},{"teacherId":10181899,"projectId":9755415,"letterContent":"Reading in our classroom is joyful, reflective, and interactive. We've been reading a new book every day, and it's something the students look forward to with excitement. Students are beginning to see how books can comfort, inspire, and teach them valuable lessons about kindness, empathy, and making good choices. These moments have provided natural opportunities for students to use positive language, problem-solve with peers, and build resilience. I've noticed an increase in cooperative play, respectful communication, and confidence in social interactions—especially among students who were initially shy or hesitant to join group activities.\r\nBoard games have also encouraged students to think critically, strategize, and make decisions collaboratively. Beyond just play, these experiences have strengthened our classroom community by promoting trust, inclusion, and shared joy.","fullyFundedDate":1755742131483,"projectUrl":"project/boosting-learning-social-skills-throug/9610629/","projectTitle":"Boosting Learning & Social Skills Through Board Games","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Villalobos","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10181899_orig.jpg?crop=727,727,x408,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1755480946863","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10181899"},{"teacherId":6525418,"projectId":8341067,"letterContent":"My students are enjoying the light table tremendously.
