Your generosity has already made a wonderful difference in how our students are learning to read and build words.\r\n\r\nWe are using the magnetic letters and trays during our phonics and word-building lessons. Students work in small groups to practice blending sounds, building words, and exploring sight words. One special moment happened during a recent lesson when students used the magnetic letters to build CVC words (like cat, map, and sit). They were able to physically move the letters to change beginning or ending sounds and immediately see how one small change creates a new word. The trays made it easy for each student to have their own workspace, and they were excited to show their classmates the new words they discovered.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the materials, they were thrilled. The magnetic letters immediately caught their attention, and many students said it felt like they were \"playing with words.\" They couldn't wait to start building words and using the sight word magnets. The hands-on experience made our phonics lessons more engaging and helped students feel more confident as they practiced reading skills.\r\n\r\nAs we continue our reading journey, students will use these materials to practice sight words, build longer words, and strengthen their phonics skills. We will also use them during literacy centers where students work together to create sentences, sort word families, and practice spelling patterns. These resources are helping make the Science of Reading come alive in our classroom.\r\n\r\nYour support has given our students tools that make learning interactive, meaningful, and fun.
