My students actually enjoy when we have indoor recess now! They used to hate having to stay inside on rainy or very cold days. Now they look forward to getting a chance to \"unplug\" and enjoy a game with friends. \r\n\r\nMy students were so excited on Unboxing Day. They couldn't wait to see what surprise I had for them. They were very happy when they found out they would have something fun to do. A few even asked if we could stay inside and play the games that day, even though it was beautiful outside.\r\n\r\nIt has been very nice watching students that don't always interact with each other enjoying each other's company. They have worked together to figure out how to play the games. I enjoyed watching students teach each other. I have also noticed that it has been a good social lesson for several students. They have had to learn to play by a set of rules, take turns, and handle losing without getting upset.
