They were able to use the materials to organize, plan, and draft their thoughts for the writing assignments they were given. \r\n\r\nThe students who benefited from this project getting funded were 5th and 6th graders in 2018. Our school had just started building a new elementary that spring. As soon as the materials from the project came in, I got them organized in the classroom. Then the administration came and told us all to start packing up our classrooms for moving to the new building during the summer. \r\n\r\nI was not able to get pictures of the students using the materials. However, I can assure you the materials were used. I taught writing and reading to 5th graders the next few years. The students from 2018 to 2025 reaped the benefits of your donations. Because I used a writing curriculum that used colored strips of paper, every item from the project was used to help the students organize, edit, and revise their writing. \r\n\r\nThis year, I am teaching science to 5th and 6th graders. The scissors from this project are still being used by the students.
