We've been able to participate in fun activities and create so much beautiful art with our new card stock , wiki sticks, and colorful tape! Our classroom library and cozy corner is inviting and especially comforting when students need downtime and self regulation. With the addition of the new sensory fish lamp, cuddly sloth, social emotional books, texture boards, and sensory emotion toys, our little ones are using their five senses to explore the environment around them, channel energy in a positive way, and utilize these tools to manage their emotions throughout the day, especially during challenging transitions! They listen to stories, play interactive educational games, and watch thematic informational videos! \r\nOur new whiteboard has allowed us to display schedules and important bulletins so that parents and students stay well informed.\r\nStudents were especially excited to use our new magnetic board during choice time. It serves multiple purposes, including writing with dry erase markers, using magnetic letters, drawing pictures, and even attaching magnetic tracks with gears to experiment with motion or a marble run! \r\nOur multicultural flags decorate the entire perimeter of our room. Students feel their cultures are recognized, and our diversity is celebrated daily.
