The macro lens filter and focus rail you helped fund have allowed our students to capture intricate details in ways they never could before. Whether it's the texture of a leaf, Legos, or the surface of everyday classroom objects, these tools have helped students slow down, observe more deeply, and think critically about composition, light, and focus. The focus rail has been especially helpful in teaching students how to stabilize their shots and control depth of field, skills that were hard to practice before due to camera shake and the limitations of handheld shooting.\r\n\r\nThe most exciting part for students has been discovering how much beauty exists in small, overlooked things. One student who was hesitant about photography at first has taken a lead role in our macro sessions, carefully setting up shots and teaching others how to use the new gear. It's been incredible to see students not only develop technical expertise but also grow in confidence and collaboration.
