My students and I are grateful. They students were particularly excited to have access to feminine products without the need to ask other students and teachers. The clearly enjoyed having the autonomy to make decisions for themselves. We always undermine that power of autonomy and kids having the opportunity to make certain decisions such as being responsible for their hygienic wellbeing ; however, these things teaches them to be responsible and accountable. My students knew that we have a specific amount of pads so they took care of each other. They took what they need and when it finished, they knew who to ask for restocking. I am truly thankful that you helped teach my students these two skills beyond the classroom. They are learning and this could not have happened with support from generous and caring people like you. My prayer is that God bless you all for helping my students especially those who might be living in temporary shelters but were too afraid to ask for feminine products. In the bathroom, they can take as much as they need without judgment.
