Each student has their own notebook thanks to your generosity. We all started our school year on common ground. We've even experimented by creating carbon dioxide balloons using baking soda and vinegar. We also had a better understanding of ecosystems and predator/prey relationships by dissecting owl pellets. My students have been able to print their designs with the extruders purchased from this project. Students were so excited to see their designs on the screen printed into 3D models!\r\n\r\nMy middle school students were able to make changes to already existing designs and also create their own mazes where we added acrylic covers and steel balls to make it a truly functioning maze! They personalized the maze with their name, too!\r\n\r\nMy high school students created multiple designs in Autodesk Fusion, and upon approval, they were able to print these designs as well! The students were grateful to have the opportunity to practice with the actual elements which allowed them to code their drones to fly accurately through the course.\r\n\r\nOne of our teams did so well they qualified for our Regional Competition! This is such as huge accomplishment for a first year team! The students know that a good part of their success was having these materials available to them. We will be heading to Regionals in a few short days, this is an incredible opportunity for our students where they will make memories and engage in learning that will last their lifetime!
