What I have witnessed however, has been nothing short of heartwarming.\r\n Our school serves a unique and diverse community of families and children. Many of our children come from low-income households and struggle to meet the demands of school. We also have students with special needs such as Down Syndrome, Behavior Disorders, other developmental disabilities, and physical disabilities. Most all students visit the library at least once a week to listen to a story and to check out library books. Now I know that I am able to offer books to all students so they can see themselves represented in the these stories.\r\n What I did not expect was the students without special needs to be so interested in the books. They are genuinely interested in reading books about kids with special needs!\r\n Thank you for making this project possible and for making our students feel so special!","fullyFundedDate":1746787197965,"projectUrl":"project/books-for-every-kid-a-library-of-belong/9218276/","projectTitle":"Books for Every Kid: a Library of Belonging","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Christi Somerville","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp3521411_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1457894244153","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3521411"},{"teacherId":9490457,"projectId":9229370,"letterContent":"My heart is full of gratitude for your generosity in helping me to build a math library.
