The addition of our new Dash robots has been so beneficial for our students. Last school year all of the students had to take turns using one robot, and I only see each class once a week. This made it so students would only get a chance to test the code they wrote on the dash apps for a few minutes every few weeks. Having more robots will allow each student to spend more hands-on time testing their code and fixing bugs. It can be so frustrating as a beginner not knowing what block had the mistake so the more they can test the easier it will be to identify. \r\n\r\nI have already started using the new robots during my after school program and the students love working with Dash. We are about to start coding units with my third , fourth, and fifth grade classes and I know they will all love Dash. This is the perfect robot to add to our library because there are so many different ways to use Dash I can adapt my lessons to work with any age group. \r\n\r\nThank you again for helping me create a library curriculum that will teach our students important 21st century skills.","fullyFundedDate":1753290001016,"projectUrl":"project/dash-robots-for-our-library/9252210/","projectTitle":"Dash Robots for our Library","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Schaefer","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9343727"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_22076","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":177,"numTeachers":37,"percentFrplEligible":87,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":13,"percentWhite":25,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":55,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"4.8:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":61.5,"schoolId":22076,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Bridgehampton School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Bridgehampton School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/new-york/bridgehampton-union-free-school-district/bridgehampton-school/22076"}
