Your kindness made a meaningful difference in our classroom experience and helped support students during an intense and demanding testing season.\r\n\r\nState testing can be challenging for eight and nine year-olds. The long testing days require focus, stamina, perseverance, and confidence. Because of your donation, each student received multiple snacks throughout our two week testing schedule. Small treats were thoughtfully passed out during testing sessions to help maintain energy and motivation, while larger snacks were provided at the end of each testing day as a reward for their hard work and determination.\r\n\r\nYour support allowed students to remain focused and engaged while putting into practice all of the strategies they have learned throughout the school year. Rather than worrying about hunger or fatigue, students were able to concentrate on showing what they know and demonstrating their growth.\r\n\r\nThe results were incredible. Students approached testing with confidence, maintained strong stamina throughout the schedule, and made wonderful academic gains. It was inspiring to watch them persevere and take pride in their efforts.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in our classroom and recognizing that meeting students' basic needs plays an important role in their success. Your generosity nourished not only their bodies, but also their confidence and determination.","fullyFundedDate":1775653785233,"projectUrl":"project/snacks-for-strong-test-takers/10149109/","projectTitle":"Snacks for Strong Test Takers","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Thruston","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp4500141_orig.jpg?crop=2448,2448,x816,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1660448424782","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/4500141"},{"teacherId":4500141,"projectId":10116159,"letterContent":"Thank you for your generosity and support of our classroom butterfly project. Because of your kindness, my third graders were able to experience science in a meaningful and unforgettable way.\r\n\r\nOur classroom became a living laboratory as students observed caterpillars transform through each stage of the butterfly life cycle. Watching tiny caterpillars grow, form chrysalises, and emerge as beautiful butterflies created excitement, curiosity, and wonder each day. My third graders eagerly recorded observations, asked thoughtful questions, and developed a deeper understanding of life science concepts through this hands-on experience.\r\n\r\nOne of the most memorable experiences was releasing our painted lady butterflies into their environment. Students felt a sense of pride and accomplishment as they watched the butterflies take flight after caring for them throughout their journey.\r\nThe learning continued beyond our classroom when the milkweed plants attracted monarch caterpillars. Students had the opportunity to observe a second butterfly species and compare and contrast the life cycles and characteristics of painted lady butterflies and monarch butterflies. This experience strengthened their observation skills, critical thinking, and understanding of ecosystems, adaptation, and how living things depend on their environment.\r\n\r\nThis project inspired meaningful conversations about nature, responsibility, and environmental stewardship. Many of my third graders shared their excitement with their families and continued observing butterflies outside of school, extending the learning beyond our classroom walls.\r\n\r\nThank you for making this experience possible. Your generosity provided more than classroom materials—you created lasting memories, inspired curiosity, and helped nurture a love of science in my third graders.","fullyFundedDate":1771901811233,"projectUrl":"project/butterflies-in-our-classroom/10116159/","projectTitle":"Butterflies in Our Classroom!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Thruston","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp4500141_orig.jpg?crop=2448,2448,x816,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1660448424782","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/4500141"},{"teacherId":6151120,"projectId":9315801,"letterContent":"I want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your generous donation to \"Elementary Lessons with a TpT Boost!\"\r\n\r\nWith your support, we were able to acquire engaging Teachers Pay Teachers resources that have enhanced our instruction and enriched our students' learning experiences.
