The students were so excited when they first saw it! Several rushed to find their own spot, and one proudly said, \"This is OUR rug!\" It instantly became a safe and welcoming space for our daily activities.\r\n\r\nSince then, the rug has become the center of our learning. We use it for group lessons, story time, and sensory activities. Recently, during a science lesson on the phases of the moon, each student took a spot on the rug to act out the orbit of the Earth and Moon. Having a defined, comfortable space helped them stay focused, participate, and truly enjoy the lesson.\r\n\r\nNext, we'll use the rug to launch small-group reading circles where students can practice phonics, share stories, and build confidence as readers. Thank you for giving my students a space where they feel supported, engaged, and proud of their classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1744203175885,"projectUrl":"project/ese-classroom-needs-a-new-rug/8946717/","projectTitle":"ESE Classroom Needs a New Rug!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Jones","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9323450_orig.png?crop=594,594,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1697040935469","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9323450"},{"teacherId":9573523,"projectId":9020925,"letterContent":"I hope this letter finds you well. It was truly inspiring to see their excitement as they transformed a simple idea into a beautiful, meaningful space. Not only did they learn about hard work and teamwork, but they also discovered the joy of creating something lasting with their own hands.\r\n\r\n Your generosity didn't just provide materials; it helped create memories, instill confidence, and spark a sense of accomplishment in these young hearts.
