The Cricut feels less like a traditional school tool and more like something you would find in a professional creative studio. Students immediately began discussing the many future projects and designs they would now have the opportunity to create. They knew this meant more hands-on, student-created projects and an increase in homemade, customized materials.\r\n\r\n Conversations quickly took off about designing custom stickers, decals, and wall art. Ideas formed around creating book covers, children's books, and flannel board stories. Students also began planning vocabulary flashcards with images and words in both Spanish and English, along with decorative lettering for classroom use.\r\n\r\n This equipment has opened up a world of opportunities in my classroom—opportunities that are student-driven, student-led, and student-created.
