The students have been using the resource in my classroom for about 10 days. Clear expectations had to be set before allowing students to use the sand table. The sand table has been used for sensory breaks to allow students to regulate their body. The sensory table has also been used as a reward time to help motivate students to follow school rules and complete their task. \r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the sand table, they were very curious. When I opened up the sand table, the students were super excited to see the sand. They all wanted to play with it. The students loved the trucks and bugs in the sand. They wanted to know what others things will be in the sand. \r\n\r\nThe next step to the sand is to change the themes of what is in the sand. The class will use the sand to find letters and numbers then trace the letter and numbers.","fullyFundedDate":1746884969108,"projectUrl":"project/sensational-sensory-sand-table/9181187/","projectTitle":"Sensational Sensory Sand Table","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Crowe","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9429020"},{"teacherId":8480176,"projectId":9149460,"letterContent":"Our students work hard to show the Warrior Way throughout their school days. This year, we want to show them how proud we are of them by doing a raffle at the end of the year. Students work so hard to earn their tickets day-in and day-out to make our school the best place to be. With your generosity, we are going to be able to provide a new, exciting for the students who have worked so hard all year long. This will be such a wonderful pay off for our students, and one we hope to continue to provide as the years go on.
