Fairy Tales are an important part of kindergarten. Not only do they entertain- they build background knowledge, create literary connections, and encourage imagination. These read-along books and cds allow students to hear these stories independently. This builds vocabulary, sight word recognition, fluency and increases all comprehension skills. These award winning books have beautiful illustrations and are well made for continual use. Fairy Tales are often the "well loved" books - taped and repaired -on our kindergarten reading shelf. This set includes: The Gingerbread Man, Three Billy Goats Gruff, Three Little Pigs, and The Little Red Hen. Life lessons to be learned= work hard, be wise and always help friends in need.
