With all the testing and grading before Spring Break it was next to impossible for me to give time to anything else. \r\nI didn't just want to write a simple thank you note but I wanted to write a heartfelt letter that would give you the exact picture of why these books are important for these students and how much I appreciate you donating them for my Special Education Resource classroom. \r\nWhile we as teachers make sure to provide all the necessary instructions and regularly out of pocket resources to motivate diverse learners to learn in the best possible way. Most of the times it's not possible to buy the series of books that some particular groups of students can easily read and pick from the classroom library, specially if the students are still working on fluently reading easy reads. \r\nSome students reading level can be two grades lower than their peers and they hesitate to pick books on their level out of the fear that someone might notice at the library during outclass and ask them why are they picking these first grade books. \r\nYour donation helped them have these books to choose freely without the fear of being judged. In the Resource classroom I've tried my best to give them the confidence to read what they want during independent reading just to instill the love of books in my dear students. And I'm so very grateful for your donation because it helped me achieve this goal since my students are overjoyed when I tell them that they can choose any book form this section in the classroom library for leisure reading. They quickly get up and choose 3-5 books and a comfortable cushion/beanbag to have their favorite time of the ELAR block that is Reading. \r\nImagine the joy of parents when I tell them that their child read a book to me the other day, they exclaim which joy how proud they feel at that time because the know how the child was struggling at the beginning of the semester. \r\nI can't thank you enough for being so generous and supportive. \r\nThank you for making a difference in many students lives, by this simple, meaningful, and positive gesture. \r\nI hope you have a wonderful day.","fullyFundedDate":1764695528615,"projectUrl":"project/diverse-learning/9532758/","projectTitle":"Diverse Learning","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Nasim","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10111210_orig.png?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1774114574314","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10111210"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_12864","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":1362,"numTeachers":43,"percentFrplEligible":46,"percentAsian":42,"percentBlack":12,"percentWhite":23,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":15,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"31.7:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_MIDSIZE"},"inStateSupporters":78.4,"schoolId":12864,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Brazos Bend Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Brazos Bend Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/texas/fort-bend-independent-school-district/brazos-bend-elementary-school/12864"}
