Welcome to our upcoming 1st grade classroom at a Title I school filled with bright, curious, and hardworking students—many of whom come from Hispanic and bilingual homes. This year marks my first year teaching 1st grade after previously teaching in a tested grade level, and I’m incredibly excited to focus more deeply on nurturing the whole child during such an important stage of learning and development. My goal is to create a warm, engaging, and safe classroom where students feel seen, supported, and excited to learn each day. Many of my students thrive with hands-on activities, visual learning tools, and opportunities to build confidence in both academics and social-emotional growth. With your support, we can create a classroom environment that encourages creativity, literacy, exploration, and a true love for learning from the very beginning.
