I have used these magazines every year for the 13 years that I have been teaching, and in my opinion, they are some of the most valuable resources that I have! They spark interest in our world news, inspire curiosity, and even contribute to debates and incredible discussions that we have in our class.\r\n\r\nAnother aspect of this contribution that you may not see is that this helps me to use my classroom spending on other valuable resources for my class. Oftentimes I would pay for these magazines out of my own pocket, or miss out on other resources so that I could order these. It is so incredibly touching that you value students' learning so much that you would contribute to kids you will never even meet! Each story sparks thoughtful discussions, allowing my students to connect their own experiences to Spot's adventures. I have already noticed them using the language from the books to describe their feelings and show empathy toward one another—a truly heartwarming transformation.\r\n\r\nYour generosity is making a lasting impact, not just by providing books, but by equipping my students with essential social-emotional skills they will carry with them for a lifetime.
