Your support has made a tremendous impact on both the learning environment and my students' engagement each day.\r\n\r\nSince receiving the flexible seating options, I've seen students take greater ownership of their learning. They are more focused, comfortable, and collaborative — choosing spaces that help them do their best work. Whether it's stools during group discussions, floor cushions for reading, or standing tables for independent tasks, every piece has contributed to a more dynamic and student-centered classroom.\r\n\r\nThe flexible seating has especially benefited students who need to move or shift positions throughout the day to stay attentive. It has created a sense of choice and respect for different learning styles, helping all students feel included and capable.\r\n\r\nYour kindness didn't just provide furniture — it provided opportunities for growth, independence, and joy in learning. Thank you for believing in my students and for helping make our classroom a more engaging and comfortable place to learn.","fullyFundedDate":1746786291740,"projectUrl":"project/sit-back-relax-and-learn/9034792/","projectTitle":"Sit Back, Relax, and Learn!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Zink","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-3_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8488565"},{"teacherId":7385317,"projectId":6804038,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for helping bring morning bins into our classroom! These materials have made a huge difference in how our day begins. Each morning, my students now come in with big smiles, excited to explore the hands-on activities waiting for them. From building with magnets to sorting colorful manipulatives, they're practicing important early learning skills while developing independence, collaboration, and a genuine love of learning.\r\n\r\nOne of my favorite moments so far was watching two students work together to build a tall structure with linking cubes. They were so proud of their teamwork and problem-solving, and it sparked a great conversation about stability, shapes, and \"trying again.\" Moments like that are exactly why I wanted to bring this project to life. These bins help ease our transition into the school day while giving my students meaningful, playful practice with math, fine motor skills, and more.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, I plan to rotate the materials to align with our current themes and skills. For example, we'll be adding letter-matching games as we launch our alphabet study, and I'm excited to introduce more story sequencing and patterning activities too. Your generosity has helped us start each day with curiosity, confidence, and joy—and I can't thank you enough for making that possible.","fullyFundedDate":1663194355660,"projectUrl":"project/morning-routines-with-play-in-mind/6804038/","projectTitle":"Morning Routines with Play in Mind!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Killar","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7385317_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1752523854637","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/missputman"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_21022","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":574,"numTeachers":34,"percentFrplEligible":40,"percentAsian":33,"percentBlack":6,"percentWhite":48,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":5,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"16.9:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":85.0,"schoolId":21022,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Boght Hills Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Boght Hills Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/new-york/north-colonie-central-schools/boght-hills-elementary-school/21022"}
