It’s well known that students in motion are engaged in their learning! Being able to provide students with sensory experiences as well as seating that meets their needs is important in my classroom. Last year being my first year in the classroom, flexible seating wasn’t an option due to limitations with the pandemic. This year, I would love to get some more flexible seating for small group work as well as student choice when they’re doing independent work. I was mindful to look for calming colors and comfortable seating to help maintain a calming and welcoming classroom environment. I appreciate your support and making our classroom a great learning environment for all students and their needs!
