I love highlighting meaningful passages, writing notes in the margins, and jotting down thoughts or reflections as I read\r\n\r\nOne of the most meaningful parts of my work is helping students recognize that their feelings and experiences are valid and that they have the ability to develop healthy ways of coping with challenges. The new materials have helped me introduce lessons and conversations around emotional awareness, coping skills, self-reflection, and overall wellness. Rather than simply talking about these concepts, I am able to use visual and hands-on resources to make them easier for students to understand and apply.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has helped make our Wellness Center a more welcoming and educational space where students can learn, reflect, and feel supported. Because of our large class sizes it has been difficult to teach particular units due to lack of resources. Because of your donation the kids get to fully engage with the sport and each other.\r\nHaving the proper amount of equipment provides students opportunity to develop and builds confidence.
