Before we obtained the camera, my Journalism/Digital Media class did not have a way to experience hands-on learning in during our Photojournalism and Videography units. Now, my students are truly immersed in these units, anxious to get their hands on a professional camera! Over the last few weeks, I have watched their creativity flourish and their interest in Journalism/Digital Media take off. \r\n\r\nMost of my students have never even held a camera. My students have loved engaging in mini projects with the use of the camera as well. Not only this but we are also able to now collaborate with the school's yearbook staff and share images that we have taken, so they may use them in the yearbook. \r\n\r\nAgain, I cannot express my appreciation to you enough.
