We are using the hydroponic plant grower, seeds, and grow trays to start our own classroom garden. Students are able to plant the seeds, watch them grow, and learn what plants need to survive without using traditional soil.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the hydroponic grower and all of the supplies, they were immediately curious and excited. They wanted to touch the materials, look at the seeds, and ask questions about how plants could grow in water. For many of my students, seeing the process happen right in our classroom makes the science feel real and meaningful.\r\n\r\nAs we continue our project, students will be responsible for helping care for the plants and observing their growth. They will record changes, measure the plants, and compare how they grow over time. We will also talk about where our food comes from and how hydroponic gardening can be used to grow plants in different environments.\r\n\r\nOur next step is to continue caring for our plants and eventually enjoy the results of our hard work. This project is helping my students practice responsibility, patience, teamwork, observation, and problem-solving while making science fun and accessible. I am so grateful to our donors for providing these resources and giving my students an opportunity to experience the excitement of growing something themselves!","fullyFundedDate":1784485839401,"projectUrl":"project/planting-curiosity/10324871/","projectTitle":"Planting Curiosity","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Brittany","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9455206_orig.png?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1770267670196","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9455206"},{"teacherId":9495261,"projectId":8273993,"letterContent":"These resources were so helpful to my babies.
