The use of manipulatives is almost a daily activity in my classroom and in my small groups, which include reading and math. These resources will allow my students the opportunity for a hands-on learning experience that will help them grow and develop new skills. Many of my students gain a greater understanding when they are able to physically interact using manipulatives that provide them a way to stay engaged and focused while learning. By donating to this project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. Students will be able to simply focus on the academic material at hand through the use of hands-on resources. Many of these items will increase their literacy and math skills as well as their desire to learn!
