It has also really supported me in differentiating the reading materials for various reading needs and levels. These bins have allowed us to keep our reading books readily available so that students can quickly and easily pick up an appropriate book to read when they have free time. Your donations have allowed them to participate in twelve activities that have encouaged them to build an understanding of electricity and light concepts through experiementing with these donated materials.\r\n\r\nMy students have built ramps to understand the science concepts of gravitational energy, speed and collisions as a way to better understand how roller coasters work. They have also built on these concepts to understand chain reactions and then built a chain reaction machine in teams. \r\n \r\nWe are now moving forward to explore heat as a form of energy that can make things go. We with dicuss steam as a form of heat energy and steam engines.
