We have read a few of the books and today we were able to complete our dreamcatchers. The students have been excited for this since I told them about the project and donations. I wish you could see the smiles on their faces!\r\n\r\nOne of the neatest things to come from this so far was a student saying that dreamcatchers weren't real and it gave us the opportunity to talk about, in first grade language of course, how different people have different traditions and beliefs, but we can still learn about them and appreciate them, even if it is not what we believe.
