We received cube chairs and privacy folders, and both have made an incredible difference for our students. Our classroom is a special needs room, and my greatest goal every single day is to keep my students engaged and foster a genuine love of learning. The cube chairs have become a favorite — when it's time for group lessons, my students eagerly gather and settle into their chairs with excitement and a sense of belonging. Seeing them light up as they come together for instruction is exactly the kind of moment that reminds me why these resources matter so much.\r\nThe privacy folders have been equally impactful. When students are ready to focus on their own work, they proudly set up their folders and dive in with confidence. The first time they saw all of the new materials, their faces said it all — wide eyes, big smiles, and so much enthusiasm. These resources have helped create a classroom environment where every student feels comfortable, supported, and excited to be there. Your contribution didn't just supply our room with materials; it gave my students a space where they truly love to learn. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!","fullyFundedDate":1771683647866,"projectUrl":"project/seats-for-success-building-a-classroom/10085609/","projectTitle":"Seats for Success: Building a Classroom Where Every Student Thrives","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Simelaro","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7448084_orig.jpg?crop=1438,1438,x0,y623&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1695430825192","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7448084"},{"teacherId":7448084,"projectId":9142054,"letterContent":"Our students were thrilled when they first saw the colorful sensory path in our hallway—their excitement was immediate! We use it daily for brain breaks and transitions. Before tests or after recess, students hop, balance, and breathe along the path to refocus their energy. Last week, one anxious student shared that the deep breathing circles helped him \"feel calm inside\" before his math test—such a special moment! Next, we're incorporating the path into our social-emotional curriculum and creating a rotation schedule so others can benefit from this amazing kinesthetic tool.","fullyFundedDate":1741526390839,"projectUrl":"project/patriots-brain-path/9142054/","projectTitle":"Patriot's Brain Path","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Simelaro","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7448084_orig.jpg?crop=1438,1438,x0,y623&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1695430825192","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7448084"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_8035","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":545,"numTeachers":40,"percentFrplEligible":25,"percentAsian":8,"percentBlack":9,"percentWhite":51,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":22,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 4","studentTeacherRatio":"13.6:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":57.2,"schoolId":8035,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Bette Perot Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Bette Perot Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/texas/keller-independent-school-district/bette-perot-elementary-school/8035"}
